REITs - Long term or Short term?

Ok....for those of you who prefer the fast action of shares, here is the place for you. But beware, lingo like moving average, bollinger bands, MACD is common here. Into warrants, futures or even options? Here is your place!

It makes sense to have Preferential Offering since it is only offerred to existing unitholders. Rights issue actually adds more to the admin part, since there are other stuff to deal with like rights entitlements trading dates etc. But it doesn't mean that Preferential Offering will get the required amount, since some existing unitholders might not want to subscribe for the Preferential offer.

Financing can be estimated if they can secure an underwriter to take on the rights offering, which means the funds raised can be estimated since the underwriter will have to take all the rest of the unsubscribed rights units.

Queue up till midnight at ATM?

Ascendas REIT had a preferential share offering in Jan 09. I was allocated 1,000 at $1.16 but successfully applied for another 1,000 via ATM.... in other words, the preferential share offering was Undersubscribed which is why my application for additional shares was successful.

I'm also vested in FCT, MLT, CDL HT. Will probably subscribe to my entitlement for FCT even though the price now is way higher than what I bought it for....

have to go and find out the procedure for applying for such offerings when the shares are in CPF funds....

Your CPF agent back will send you something. Just fill it up and send it back to them. Of course, you must make sure that you have enough funds in your CPF-OA and/or CPF Investment Account and your CPF-OA stock investment limit is enough.

lately i sold both of my reits, cct n plife
they r both in the money ::D , both broke their reistances, so therefore prompted me to sell n locked in profits
my experience told me to sell for profits the moment they broke the resistance prices and buy them back at a lower price

since mkt now is doing see-saw pattern, already witnessed them in going high then down back lower many times
so i decided to sell instead of LT

cct: sold starhub centre, so mayb dpu may be lower
plife: too many properties from japan, i dun like

next one is CDL Htrust: Got a huge placement of shares w/o small loyal share holders like me :letitallout: , my holding were diluted, so therefore technically quite difficult to reach the recent high of $2.00
